The outpouring of grief after the death of Amber Gibson as a shocked community member

There has been a spate of grief after a young Scotsman was found dead in South Lanarkhire.
The body of 16-year-old Amber Gibson, known as Amber Niven, was found in a wooded area of Hamilton.
Police and search teams patrolled the scene near Cadzow Glen following the discovery at 15am on Sunday, November 28.
They also closed and patrolled Cadzow Street with an investigation that lasted into the night, revealing images of the scene.
Amber was reported missing in the Hamilton area on Friday 26 November with a death currently being treated by police as undisclosed.
Now, the local community has paid tribute to the young child.
Diane Gilroy said: “God bless you dear RIP.
“Compassion is for all her family and friends and anyone who knew this little girl.
“Bad news.”
Catherine Kelly wrote: “How sad it is to hear this, it is very sad.
“RIP a beautiful young girl. XX”
